There’s a relatively large set of documents that testimony the activities of the European Pollen Database from its creation to the more recent past.
They include the EPD Newsletters and Reports, which were mostly distributed to members of the community between 1989 and 1998 (thus before the internet era), as well as a list of projects that used EPD data in the past.
